How to Create a Quiz
Step 1:
From the homepage, select "Quiz". Here, you are able to 'Create a Quiz' or 'Load From Collection'. When first starting an Edmodo group, you will need to choose 'Create a Quiz' until your question data bank has been established.

Select a time limit for the quiz.

Choose the type of question you wish to add, then select ' + Add First Question'.

Create your questions.
Option A: Multiple Choice Question
- Type the question prompt and responses in their respective boxes in the order you wish them to be seen.
- To add more responses, click on the 'Add Responses' box at the bottom of the page.
- To select the correct response, select 'Correct Answer' next to the correct response.
- You have the option of attaching a link or an item from the Library.
- You have the option of changing how many points are awarded for each correct response.
- To remove a question, there will be a 'Remove Question' button on the top right of the question (not shown below since it is the first in the series).
- To add a new question, click '+' on the left-hand side bar. Once the new question is added, you can make another Multiple Choice Question, or change the type of question to True False, Short Answer, Fill in the blank, or Matching.

- Type a statement in the 'Question Prompt' box.
- Indicate whether this response is the 'Correct Answer' or 'False Answer'.

Option C: Short Answer Question
- Type the question prompt in the given box.
- There will be no indication of a correct answer due to the varying responses elicited by a short answer question. You will be able to view and evaluate students' responses.

Option D: Fill in the blank Question
- Type the question prompt using '__' underscores to specify where you would like a blank to appear in the text. When students answer, they must answer in the exact order for questions to be marked as correct.

- Enter the options and their matching choices in order. The choice organization will be randomized when students see them.

Step 6:
When finished creating questions, select 'Assign Quiz' at the upper right corner of the screen.
*Tip: You are able to preview the quiz before posting. The 'Preview' button can be found directly below the 'Assign Quiz' button.

Step 7:
Once created, you will be taken to your homepage where you can assign a due date, choose to add to gradebook, and choose which group of students to send the quiz.
